10/14/10New (no sew!) T-shirt Tutorial!

{The Gladiator T}
We’ve been doing it since we were kids, and we still love cutting up our T-shirts! Here’s a new design (not published in our book 99 Ways to Cut, Sew, Tie and Trim your T-Shirt.) This design is easy to do, it should only take you about 10-15 minutes, and best of all, you don’t need to bust out the sewing kit…just a pair of scissors.
You should use a medium sized t-shirt on this one. Have fun and happy upcycling!
Do you enjoy our new tutorials?Β  ’cause we’ve got a few more up our sleeves if you all are into it!

Step 1
Cut off neckline, sleeves and hem
Step 2
Cut thin arching slits from shoulder though sleeve, leaving the armhole and sleeve ending seams in tact.Β  Slits should go through front and back of tee.

Thanks to Sole Alberti (our lovely model), Natalie and Geeta for your work on this post!Β
