When I walk into a store like Totokaelo it’s dangerous. Not neccessarily because I want to buy everything in sight (which I do) but because it *really* makes me want to have a store again like I did a decade ago back in Italy. Totokaelo is so well put together–a perfect blend of art, object, fashion and furniture, it’s silly to even start taking pictures inside the store because it quickly becomes obvious that everything warrants photographing. But of course, I take photos anyway–and because most everything is just a bit out of reach for me price-wise, my DIY mind starts to go into overdrive and I picture myself completely tangled in yards of fuschia yarn in an awkward attempt to recreate that amazing pillow.
Maybe the stroller helped me to be more inconspicuous–but somehow I made it through the entire shop without a single sales person telling me I couldn’t take pictures–so here are some shots that inspire me so much–I hope they do the same for you.
I actually gasped when I saw this. This is one sexy table. And the rug….
so many gems…
lots of good stuff to do with rope…
she says while checking to see if she has any gold acrylic paint left in her craft closet…
And oy–this light switch–makes me want to paint all of the light switches in my jungalow.
Actually, the Totokaeto makes me want to redo my entire house. Eeeek. Dangerous. Very, very dangerous.
